Their amazement raised heavy gear but failed to figure out the scheme
A commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard revealed new details about the American strike that led to the death of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani early this month.
Amir Ali Haji Zadeh, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Air Force-Space, told the Iranian news agency, “Fars”: The Iranians spotted a number of American aircraft with heavy equipment and Drones, which raised their surprise, but they failed to know the American plan despite its monitoring.
He added, “Zada” that a number of planes took off from military bases inside Iraq, such as the Taji and Ain al-Assad bases, while most of them took off from the Al-Salem base in Kuwait, according to what he said, which Kuwait officially denied at the time, describing it as “false news.”
In general, there were 4 to 5 bases involved in these operations, said the IRGC-affiliated commander.
The United States had launched a strike at dawn Friday, January 3, targeting the leader of the “Quds Force” in the “Revolutionary Guard”, terrorist Qassem Soleimani, using drones, killing him with a number of leaders and members of the “Popular Mobilization”.
