Barcelona, under the leadership of its new coach, Kiki Sitten, is preparing for its first games in the King’s Cup, against Ibiza, on Wednesday evening, amid volatile weather between wind and rain.
Just as Sittin stated in a conference presented as coach of the Catalan club a few days ago, that he wanted to bring the winds of northern Spain to Catalonia, the matter happened in the Barcelona exercises yesterday, which witnessed a storm.
But the usual Sittin in this atmosphere refused to cancel the training session and insisted on completing the daily routine of the Catalan team, in contrast to the desire of most of the stars of the team, who were giving the breath of canceling the training session, or holding it in a covered stadium.
The Spanish newspaper “AS” reported that a group of Barcelona players landed on the training ground, amidst amazement and confusion from Sittin’s insistence, and Gerard Pique, the Blaugrana defender, was the most surprising of the new coach.
According to AS, Pique echoed words expressing his dissatisfaction with Sittin while he was on the pitch, saying: “At least we were canceling the training,” while his colleagues encouraged him, saying, “Come on, come on.”
It is noteworthy that Sittin took over the responsibility of training Barcelona on the 14th of this month, succeeding the article Ernesto Valverde.
