The Saudi Royal Court announced, on Tuesday, the death of Prince Bandar bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Saud, who is the cousin and son-in-law of King Salman, as he was married to the sister of King Al-Bandari bint Abdulaziz Al Saud until her death in 2008.

The obituary statement said: “Turn to the mercy of God Almighty His Highness Prince Bandar bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Saud, and he will, upon God’s will, pray today, Tuesday, 5/26/1441 AH, after the afternoon prayer in the mosque of Imam Turki bin Abdullah in Medina Riyadh”.

Prince Sattam bin Khaled Al Saud mourned the late emir via Twitter, saying: “Oh God, have mercy on your servant # Bandar_ben_Mohammed_ben_Abdullah Rahman, forgive him and have mercy on him Better than his family, the temptation of the grave and the torment of the fire. We belong to God and to Him we shall return. ”

Prince Nayef bin Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz Al Saud mourned Prince Bandar, offering condolences to the Saudi monarch, saying: May God have mercy on Prince Bandar bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman and sincere condolences to the position of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince and the children of the deceased and the honorable royal family.

Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid Al Saud, the Kingdom’s ambassador to Kuwait, participated in the obituary of the late prince, saying: “We belong to God and we shall return. O God, forgive, have mercy, and transgress from your servant Bandar bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman. Oh God, accept it well and steadfast and forgive him ».

The late prince is the father of the famous Saudi poet Saud bin Bandar, who died in 1986 at the age of 42.
