“Manga” production company revealed Saudi
, Which is affiliated with the Mohammed bin Salman Charitable Foundation, announced the launch of a Saudi series in the style of Japanese graphics called “Legends in a Time To Come”.
The Saudi “Al-Akhbariya” channel showed a clip of the 13-episode series, and it will be shown on MBC1 channel weekly, starting from Friday.
The series, directed to the Saudi and Arab audiences, revolves around the future of the Kingdom, and presents heritage stories from Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula that people have transmitted from ancient times, and the novelist tells “Asma” to her grandchildren and their automatic cat “Anis”, providing them with advice and judgment of the past through events and time stations.
The series contributes to linking children with Arab values, morals and Iraq, and introduces children to future technologies, and it also celebrates the Arabic language and the beauty of its tunes with inspiring creative content, according to what was announced.
Dr. Issam Bukhari, CEO of Manga Production, said during a previous statement: “Through our work we aim to create an integrated environment in the Kingdom and the Arab world concerned with developing creative and positive content for future generations, in addition to exporting Saudi culture to the world in an attractive and innovative template.”
It is noteworthy that this series is the first Saudi to be produced in cooperation with the “Twenty Animation” studio, which is one of the oldest and most famous Japanese studios.
