New report points to 12-megapixel main sensor in Galaxy Z Flip camera

Samsung is preparing to announce the new version of its foldable Galaxy Z Flip phones at the Galaxy S20 conference on February 11, and in new leaks it was indicated that the main sensor in the camera comes with a 12-megapixel camera.

Contrary to previous leaks that indicated that Samsung is presenting its foldable Galaxy Z Flip phone with a main sensor of 108 megapixels, a new report came today to deny this information and provide new details about the specifications of the camera in the phone.

Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Z Flip phone in the market with a lower pricing level than its first release of the Galaxy Fold which came with a high pricing level of up to $ 2000.

Samsung has tended to choose the clamshell design of the Galaxy Z Flip, also Samsung is expected to reduce the cost of phone configurations to support a lower pricing level, so choosing a 108-megapixel sensor does not support Samsung in achieving this goal, and a new report today confirmed The main sensor on the phone comes with only 12 MP resolution.

Expectations indicate that the Galaxy S20 Ultra will be the highest version of Samsung in its event scheduled for February 11, when Samsung offers the highest specifications in this version, so the new Galaxy Z Flip will not compete with the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Ishan Agarwa has confirmed that the Galaxy Z Flip includes a main sensor in the 12-megapixel rear camera, while the front camera comes with 10-megapixel camera.

Also, along with the camera specifications, Samsung chooses the Snapdragon 855 processor chip in the phone as an alternative to the Snapdragon 865 processor, as the screen comes in a size of 6.7 inches. .
