According to the Iraqi News Agency, there are five main sectors to secure the demonstration.

This demonstration comes at a time the protesters of “Tishreen” (referring to the demonstrations that started on the first of last October) are still present at Muhammad Qasim Bridge, in addition to the Tahrir Square in central Baghdad, according to our correspondent.

For his part, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Friday A pause in what he called “the resistance” And punish those who violate the political armistice in the country. He said, according to what the Iraqi News Agency reported: “We seek not to push Iraq into another war” with the Americans.

At the same time, Sadr called for the closure of US military bases in Iraqi territory. He also stressed the need to adopt reciprocity with foreign countries to maintain sovereignty.
