He said: its climax continues for the middle of next week, especially in the northern and central areas, and warned of freezing temperatures
Weather expert and researcher on climatic phenomena, Ziyad Al-Juhani, expected, in the coming hours, God willing, that most of the Saudi regions will enter the peak of the polar wave, which is the strongest in several regions during the winter of this year.
He said that the peak of the polar wave is expected to continue until the middle of next week, especially on the northern and central areas, strongly warning of the degrees of freezing.
He added: “The coolness is of a polar origin, slow to move, strong in influence, therefore temperatures are expected to continue below zero centigrade on Tabuk, the northern borders and Hail, while it is around the three degrees on the Qassim, Riyadh, parts of the eastern and the western highlands (Taif and Medina heights), while The western regions (Makkah, Jeddah) reach approximately 12 degrees.
He pointed out that Saturday night and Sunday morning may be the coldest night for this season, and most of the residents of the Kingdom’s regions will use heating methods, and God knows best.
