“Medical services for the armed forces” reduces waiting hours in emergencies

As a result of the unlimited support from His Highness the Minister of Defense and his deputy to achieve many initiatives

The General Administration of Medical Services of the Armed Forces recently witnessed an improvement in the level of health services due to the unlimited support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Deputy Minister of Defense – may God protect them – to achieve many initiatives from Through the Ministry of Defense development program, including the Family Management Improvement Initiative (flow), and optimized use in armed forces hospitals.

This led to a decrease in waiting hours in the emergency departments by (55%), and a decrease in the number of patients with long-stay (11%), through the periodic report of the Ministry of Defense Development Program.

The waiting time for patients has also decreased since they entered until they left from (80 hours to 30 hours) in the Prince Sultan Medical Military Emergency in Riyadh, and by 315 to 302 patients per month for patients with long residency.

Likewise, the waiting time for patients decreased from their entry to their exit from (16 hours to 8 hours) in the emergency field of King Fahd Hospital for the Armed Forces in Jeddah, and by (23 to 19) patients per month with long residency.

It is noteworthy that medical services, through its hospitals distributed in various regions of the Kingdom, contribute to providing advanced and accurate health services with an absorptive capacity exceeding (7000) beds.
