Retreat Alahli football club To the third place, in the second place in the African Champions League, after the end of the Sudanese Crescent match against Zimbabwe’s Platinum, on Saturday afternoon, in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Championship.
Al-Hilal Al-Sudani rose to the rankings of the group, after raising its score to 9 points, equal to the Tunisian coastal star, who is preparing to face Al-Ahly of Egypt, tomorrow evening Sunday, but the Tunisian team leads the goal difference, as well as thanks to direct confrontations.
Al-Ahly comes in third place temporarily, with 7 points, before its match against the star, while Zimbabwe’s Platinium bid farewell to the tournament, fourth by a single point.
Al-Hilal managed to win at the expense of its host, Platinum, in Zimbabwe, in the match held this afternoon, with a clean goal.
And Zimbabwe’s Platinum missed the opportunity to progress from a penalty kick, while Al-Hilal scored the winning goal in the 84th minute of the match, by Mohammed Musa Al-Daw.
Al-Ahly will meet tomorrow (Sunday) at nine in the evening, with his Tunisian coastal star counterpart, at Al-Salam stadium, in the framework of the fifth round of the second group competitions in the African Champions League.
