Ahmed Hassan, the former star of the Egyptian national team, expressed his happiness at offering his name to take over the clearing Egypt to succeed Ahmed Hossam Mido.
The clearing department thanked the technical staff led by Mido for the recent decline in the team’s results.
Ahmed Hassan said in statements to the evening of lights program: “Of course this matter makes me very happy, thank God that I have a good name in the soccer field.”
“I made a decision from the time I went to the technical work, when I was working in the administrative field recently, I had technical powers,” he added.
He continued, “Thank God, I got great experiences during the last period of dealing with senior coaches.”
Ahmed Hassan was in a management position at the Pyramids Club last season.
Ahmed Hassan revealed, “Until now, no one has spoken to me to lead Egypt for the clearing, but whoever the coach will be is lucky with the players and the professional management.”
He stressed, “Clearing will definitely return, because they have distinguished players and professional management, the team only needs to get out of the current psychological state.”
Ahmed Mido explained, “Mido had bad luck, and this happens sometimes in football and is a possibility.”
He concluded his remarks, “Maidu has much luck in the coming period. He is a promising coach, but there is no problem with those matters in the ball.”
