Press reports revealed today, Tuesday, that Al-Nasr club is looking to sign a striker during the ongoing winter Mercato.

The club’s desire to include a new striker comes after the injury suffered by Cameroon striker Linder Tawamba, which will keep him out of action for two months.

Reports confirmed that Al-Shabab striker Mohammed Al-Sahlawi was on the radar of Al-Taawun Club this January in order to contract him and buy the remainder of his contract.

Al-Sahlawi joined the ranks of youth early this season, coming from Al-Nasr Club, after a long career with Al-Alamy, during which he won the Saudi League 3 times, and won the Crown Prince Cup once.

The 33-year-old played only 8 games this season with Al-Shabab, with 158 minutes, when he did not score any goal, while he made a single goal.
