Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that the football team will participate in the retirement festival of Tariq Al-Taib, the former Libyan star, on March 28.
Al-Ahly announced its participation in the retirement match of the penitent, during the contacts that took place between the director of Al-Ahly football and the Libyan player during the last hours to determine the date according to the team’s links and his participation locally and in Africa.
Al-Ahly will face his Saudi counterpart, Al Hilal, in the match of retiring Tariq Al-Taib, after setting the new date, in coordination with the technical staff of the football team led by Swiss Rene Vyler.
For his part, the coach, Fyler, welcomed Al-Ahly’s participation in the retirement match of the star Tariq Al-Taib, despite the team’s association with a number of matches at the local and African levels.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face the coastal star, scheduled for next Sunday in the fifth round of the group stage matches in the African Champions League.
