A tip blows a surprise behind Mido’s failure with clearing

The former goalkeeper of Al-Ahly and Egypt Ekrami team announced that Zamalek will rise to the 8th round of the African Champions League, indicating that it will take advantage of the crowd factor in the next match against Mazembe Congolese, who leads the group with 10 points.

Ikrami confirmed via “Time Sport” channel: “I think that Zamalek will qualify for the round of eight, especially as the next match will be on its court, and we hope that it will qualify.”

Ikrami commented on the decision to dismiss Ahmed Hossam Mido from the clearing training, saying: “I think that Mido is unsuccessful with the clearing, although he is a distinguished team, but injuries and lack of success in addition to lack of understanding with the players are among the most important reasons for Mido’s failure.”

The former Al-Ahmar goalkeeper continued his statements: “The most appropriate alternative to clearing currently will not be a foreign coach, and I suspect that the clearing will contract with an Egyptian coach, especially that he will not make a great effort in identifying the players’ capabilities.”

The former Pharaohs keeper touched on facing Al-Ismaili and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria in the Arab championship: “Al-Ismaili is a great team and has improved its performance with the new coach, but facing Al-Ittihad is beyond expectations.”

And Ikrami continued his speech: “Ismaili is doing well, and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria also won the previous match in the league against the Vanguard of the Army, so the match is beyond all expectations.”

He concluded his statements: “Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi has fluctuating results in the recent period, due to dispensing with some players and lack of success, but he is certainly able to return again to his level and distinguished results.”
